I haven’t seen the series but I was asked to do a commission piece for Justified’s main character, U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens.

Timothy Olyphant has quite a pair of intimidating eyes on him. Even if the actor’s name, or his 18-year body of work, doesn’t ring an immediate bell, it’s hard not to remember his gimlet-eyed glare. Sharp, penetrating and derisive, that stare is a ticking time-bomb, warning recipients they have mere moments to correct their behaviour before his thin string of patience snaps. Since 2010, Olyphant’s unforgiving gaze has bored deep into the souls of the moonshiners, meth dealers and murderers who populate the dirt-poor coal-mining community of Harlan, east Kentucky, the setting of his hit drama series Justified. Marshal Raylan Givens is not Olyphant’s first lawman: he was memorably furious as sheriff Seth Bullock in David Milch’s prematurely truncated Deadwood. But Raylan Givens, who featured in Elmore Leonard’s novels Pronto and Riding The Rap, as well his short story Fire In The Hole, has become the actor’s signature role.
I know this ain’t exactly how most people do it, professing their love over a box of cash. But the way I see it, Ava Crowder, you and me…well, we ain’t like most people.

You may not be her first, her last, or her only. She loved before she may love again. But if she loves you now, what else matters? Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Graphite, Digital)
I’ve been marathoning the TV series Justified, and this has made me very unproductive, so I’ve decided to stop and try finishing something before I continue to watch season 4. Since I’ve been watching so much Justified, I’ve decided to do an illustration of the show’s main character, Raylan.
This is my first time making an animated gif. I don’t think I’m capable of doing anything complicated yet, so I just animated smoke coming out of Raylan’s gun. Unfortunately, the animation came out pretty slow and choppy, but hopefully I’ll get better at this.
