Technically we don’t know if it was even Winona who left the letter, we never saw a signed name. My personal theory is that Gary has left little notes (written on scented paper) that give clues as to his current location throughout the house in hopes that Wynn Duffy will come find him someday and let him join Quarles Barkley, the criminal mastermind/music group that he has formed with Robert Quarles. He leaves them in Winona’s house because he knows Wynn can get in. I miss Gary :’)
