This show has always been dark, but learning that Arlo was willing to kill Raylan if it meant saving Boyd took it to a heart-wrenching new level. On top of that, crazy Quarles’ hostage situation and final disarming scene was just plain cool. Though we still prefer the episode with Dewey’s kidneys, it was great to see a real-life piggy bank.Read more: Season Finales 2012: The Best and Worst
